The Lone Warrior Outreach Singing and
Teaching Ministry is a volunteer
ministry for nursing home facilities and its mission is to go
into the nursing homes to share and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ with the
residents, staff, facility and family members. My directive is
-
to be an instrument
that God can use to bring people to an understanding of Jesus Christ
-
minister to the sick
and the shut-in through Christian music and God's Holy Scriptures
-
letting
the people know that God loves them and they are not alone or forgotten
-
and, most importantly, that anyone who has not accepted Jesus Christ as
their personal Lord and Savior to provide the opportunity to do so.
I work mainly with the activities directors of the nursing homes and find
them to be very cooperative. My goal is not to be, or do a service for
them, but do everything for the Lord. I believe we all must see God one
day whether we want to believe it or not. There just may be someone in the
nursing home who wants to know who God is and may want to establish a
relationship with Him.
I have been going to Health Care facilities for over 13 years since 1992 and
financing this ministry through my own personal funds and my faith in God.
This ministry has traveled as far as Ohio. It is my intention to minister
to any nursing home within the United States. At some point, I have
ministered to almost every health care facility in this local area.
Your Prayers are Needed!
The healthcare facilities do not just consist of the elderly. There are
people of all ages. Everyone needs prayer! Prayer is a very
powerful tool It is the communication line to Christ and God.
Through our faith and obedience He answers our prayers.
If you unselfishly pray for someone else, you cannot only help, but encourage
that person to continue on in Christ. The Lone Warrior Outreach Singing &
Teaching Ministry prayer list consisted of 171 people in October. All of
these people will be in constant prayer.
